About HCC
Who is HCC Family? Harvest Christian Center is a Pentecostal Church located at the foot of the Cascade Mountains in beautiful Sweet Home, Oregon. We are members of the Church of God International. You can see a full list of our beliefs and a link to our denominational website below. But to simply answer the question, Who is HCC? We are a family of faith, forgiving the past and focusing on the future. We are a group of men and women who have been delivered by the grace of God and the blood of the Lamb. We struggle, fall short, get restored and continue to press forward. We love God, and love people. We believe in the fullness of the Trinity: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We operate in the gifts of the spirit. We lay hands on and pray for the needs of each other, and trust God to meet all of our needs. In short, we are a family, none perfect, just forgiven and working to be better every day. If this sounds like a place for you, we would love for you to come visit us in person or contact us and set up a time to meet with the pastors and get to know them. May God bless you and thanks for stopping by our site.
About Pastors Mark and Wendy
Pastors Mark and Wendy Woody have been in ministry for 25 years. They came to us from Cleveland TN over 8 years ago. They have led jail and prison ministry, and presided over the Gatekeepers Christian Motorcycle Chapter for 5 years in Cleveland. They pastored in Chattanooga TN, and in the Sequatchie Valley in TN. Pastor Mark spent 5 years on the board of the Sweet Home Emergency Ministries, and they have a passion for the lost and those who are down and out. They have pastored here and in Corvallis until a pastor could be found for the campus there. Their southern style is passionate and wide open, and it shows in their heart for ministry. They are always willing to try new things to help in the community and church. Come and get to know them in person. They would love to take time to drink some coffee with you and get to know you. We are honored to have them as our pastors, and look forward to many more years of ministry together.
